Responsibilities:

• Create from scratch, via written documentation and supplied architectural backgrounds, Electrical Service Layouts, Lighting Plans, Electrical Site Plans, Elevations, Specs, Single Line Diagrams, Legends and Details.
• Design Interior/Exterior Electrical and Lighting layouts for single and multiple-building projects.
• Design Electrical Power Layouts and Lighting Plans for Interior subdivisions such as Research Labs (Standard and specialized such as BSL-3), Environmental Controlled Rooms, and Classrooms
• Create and layout Panel Schedules and sheets.
• Coordinate similar layouts to ensure designs are only created once
• Design Raceway Assemblies, Conduit runs and other electrical services in multiple lab layouts for Hospitals and MRI Imaging Suites.
• Coordinate power supply and interconnections for Audio-Visual, Fire Alarm, Telecommunication and Security Systems.
• Coordinate submittals of drawings for review up through construction.
• Coordinate between various engineering trades the layout of electrical devices.
• Review Raceway Submittals.
• Review, coordinate, and implement Design Change Orders and RFI’s
• Establish Drafting standards and procedures.
• Maintain and update various programs as well as computer systems.
• Research new programs and add-ins.
